About Us : Patrick is French and Benny Norwegian (Benny is a girl's name in Norway). We met in the Ivory Coast in 1964, fell in love, married, got two lovely daughters and stayed on in Africa for 15 years. Back in France in 1979, we've worked in various parts of France, the last 12 years in Paris.
We bought Baulay in 1973 (the barn had been restored in 1963), rebuilt part of the main house in ruins, Baulette, in 1993, and finished building Bauletina in 2003, in time for our retirement!!
The big question facing us at this point was : What do we want to do with the next, hopefully, 25 years of our lives?? The obvious answer was : Share our lovely surroundings with other people....
